The Ashville, AL native retired from General Electric as a quality control inspector after 38 years, was a member of Woodlawn United Methodist Church, the wuxiliaried of AmVets, American Legion, and VFW, and enjoyed traveling, gardening, sewing and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband, Dale Ballenger, a son, W. Tony House of Friendly Village, four daughters, Mary Alys Bratcher of Brooksville, FL and Gayle McElwain, Kathi Graves and Sheila House-Bruington, all of Owensboro, 17 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
