"Randy" as he was affectionately called by family and friends was born in Florence County to Celia Mae Williams and the late Andrew Seegars. He died on Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at McLeod Regional Medical Center after an illness.
"Randy" was educated in the public schools of Florence County. He was employed at the Holiday Inn as a maintenance technician.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Angelo Seegars.
Survivors include his wife of 15 years, Barbara Myers Seegars; a daughter, Alexis Seegars; five sons, Randy (Chata) Seegars, Ron Seegars, Tyree See-gars, Brian Seegars and Quentin Seegars; one stepson, Christopher Johnson; three grandchildren, Kyron Seegars, Kyla Seegars and Heaven Blakney; one sister, Tena Burch; six sisters-in-law; three brothers-in-law; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
