OSSEO, Wis. — Adeline Avis Johnson, 83, of Osseo died on Monday, June 23, 2003, at Luther Hospital in Eau Claire.
Adeline was born on September 2, 1919, in the town of Hale, Trempealeau Co., Wis. to Albert and Anna (Hackenson) Klundby.
She married Ervin Johnson on October 1, 1938, in Decorah, Iowa. Ervin preceded her in death on May 15, 1993.
Adeline owned and operated The Corner Café and an antique and thrift shop in Osseo for several years. After her retirement she worked as a home healthcare aide in Osseo.
Adeline was a member of the Eastern Star and was the Past Worthy Matron.
She is survived by her daughters, Carol (Dale) Olson and Ruth Ann Johnson both of Osseo; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; and a sister.
Funeral services will be at 8 p.m. on Friday, June 27, 2003, at Schiefelbein Funeral Home, Osseo. Burial will be in Osseo Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday.
