Visitation was held Dec. 17 at Wheelan Funeral Home, Rock Island, where a combined parish, Daughters of Isabella and St. Pius Altar and Rosary Society rosary will be recited at 3:30 p.m. Additional visitation will be 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church. Memorials may be made to the church or to St. Anthony's Continuing Care Center.
Mrs. Dulek died Wednesday, Dec. 15, 1999, at Trinity Medical Center, West Campus, Rock Island.
The former Genevieve Guzzi was born Nov. 13, 1910, in Clarkdale, Iowa, the daughter of Alessio and Mary Folino Guzzi. She married Joseph R. Dulek Sept. 3, 1949, in Rock Island.
She retired in 1954 from the former International Harvester Farmall Works, Rock Island. She was a member of St. Pius X Church, Rock Island, Altar and Rosary Society of the church, Our Lady of Perpetual Help Circle 532 Daughters of Isabella and Allouez Council 658 Knights of Columbus Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband; and 18 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Pauline Adams, Mary Maletta, Angeline Valentine, Armelia Sacco, Diana Fazio, Norma Buban and brothers, Charles and Tony Guzzi.
