I'm thinking that in 1865 Charles Fosdick and Sarah Deett Smith are married. Sometime between 1870 and 1875 Charles Fosdick and Sarah Deett Smith get a divorce. Charles took the boy and leaves the girls with Sarah. William Rood marries Sarah and the girls started using Rood as their last name. 24 Sep 1876 Charles marries Sarah Clementine

Gravesite Details
This memorial is from her Husband's site. Some say it is misleading, but this is discrediting her sacrifice. She lost the man she loved and the father of her children to a war that would not have happened but for fort sumpter hothead confederates.
