HARVEY BLASDELL
Harvey Eugene Blasdell, 73, of 251 N. Ventura avenue, Ventura died Saturday at a Ventura hospital after a short illness.
Mr. Blasdell was a retired pumper for the Standard Oil company. He was born April 14, 1885 at Sierraville and came to Ventura 10 years ago from Taft.
He is survived by two sons, Harry Blasdell, Ojai, and Clyde Blasdell, Nipomo; two brothers Elmer Blasdell, Ventura, and John Blasdell, Barstow, and a sister Mrs. Elaine Lambert, Downieville.
Mr. Blasdell was a member of the Neighbors of Woodcraft.
Services will be conducted Wednesday at 11 am at the Loma Vista chapel of the Ted Mayr funeral home. The Rev Lawrence Stanton will officate. Inez Smith will be soloist and Margery Eggert will be organist. Buriel at Ivy Lawn cemetery will follow.
