J. A. Dow, 3333 Richmond Avenue, received Wednesday night from Longdale, Blair county, Oklahoma, a telegram announcing the death of his brother, Henry Dow. Mr. Dow was a son of L.M. Dow, who passed away in this city a year ago. He was about 68 years old.
Mr. Dow was married twice. His first wife was Miss Nettie Tinch of Humboldt. To this union three children were born. After Mrs. Dow's death he married Miss Etta Robinson of Crawford county, the ceremony taking place about 17 years ago.
Mr. Dow leaves his wife and three children, Walter Dow, Mrs. Cora Benson and Mrs. Dora Maze, all of Longdale Okla.; two sisters, Mrs. Mattie Hall of Mattoon and Mrs. Amanda Cody of Sullivan, and four brothers Charles Dow and Clarence Dow of Arkansas and John Dow of Mattoon.
