Mrs. Calloway was born April 3, 1920, in Blount County to Henry Grady Keller and Gina Blakely Keller. She was married to Albert Calloway who preceded her in death July 1984.
She has lived most of her life in the Baileyton area and was a member of Mount Hermon Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law: Albert Wendell Calloway of Baileyton and Jackie Wayne and Janet Calloway of Baileyton; daughter and son-in-law: Glenda and Fred Steipp of Baileyton; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brother-in-law: Dalton Meeks of Birmingham; and a sister-in-law: Jewel Keller of Baileyton.
The funeral was at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 2, 2011, at Mount Hermon Baptist Church with Terry Blankenship and Jeremy Calloway officiating. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel directing.
Pallbearers were Jared Calloway, Anthony Meeks, Heath Steipp, Mike Stinson, John Turner and Jonathan Turner.
