Mrs. Ida Bell Gray, 77, widow of Jacob Gray, died at 12:50 p. m. Monday at Greene's nursing home. She had been in failing health three months.
She was born July 16, 1882 in Ross County, the daughter of Richard and Kathleen Yeager Summers, and was married in October of 1884 [actually 27 Apr 1905, familysearch.org] - . She was a member of the Humbolt Baptist Church.
Surviving are the sons, Owen of Port William, Darrel of Clarksville and Jacob Gray of Connersville, Ind.; daughters, Mrs. Florice Hixson of Wilmington Route, Mrs. Lona Hixson, Mrs. Helen Cartwright and Mrs. Faith DeBord of Wilmington, and Mrs. Minnie Houston of Melvin, three brothers, Albert Summers of Washington C. H., Edward Summers of Bloom¬ingburg and Frank Summers of Springfield; a sister, Mrs. Jennie Landenburg of Jeffersonville; 34 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
