The San Antonio, Texas, native retired in 1975 as manager of Patterson- Fletcher Clothing Store after 20 years.
His wife, Jean, died in 1979.
Surviving are a daughter, Sharon J. Meekin of Fort Wayne; son, Scott A. of New Haven; sister, Katherine Miller of Austin, Texas; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
