Died at the Galen State Hospital following a long battle with cancer. His remains were donated to science (WAMI Medical Education Program in Bozeman, MT). He was the oldest of 7 brothers born to Henry and Ida (Nasi) Aho. He had been a member of the Eagles Lodge in Redford, Michigan, and was known as the "greatest one-legged bowler in the United States." He later was known as the "wee voice of Galen" because of his frequent telephone calls to a radio talk show.
He was preceded in death by brothers, William and George, both of Michigan, and Hjalmer of Butte.
