DENTON -- Ruth C. Bailey Bresette, 79, a retired supervisor of the budget dept., New Mexico Highway Dept., died Wednesday, June 18, 2003, at home.

Funeral: 3 p.m. Monday at St. David Episcopal Church, Denton. Burial: Santa Fe National Cemetery.

Memorials: St. David Episcopal Church, 623 Ector, Denton, Texas 76201.

Ruth was born in Itasca to James and Essie Bailey. She married James L. Bresette in Fort Worth in 1953. He preceded her in death in 1998.

Survivors: Stepdaughters, Toni Ross and Linda Piatt; sister, Oleta Harris; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews, including Anna Miller and Betty Tate.
