Dessie Opal Hanley, 91, of Huntington, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2011 at her residence. She was a homemaker and a member of Sunshine Freewill Baptist Church. She was born April 15, 1920, in Pliny WV, a daughter of the late Emmitt Benjamin and Fannie Connard Allen.

two daughters; Fannie and Walter E. Plybon of Huntington, Ruth Tate of Spartanburg, SC;

Funeral service was at Chapman's Mortuary with Rev. Carl Lilly officiating. Burial in Beale Chapel Cemetery, Apple Grove, WV.
