Jamie C. Weihert, age 48, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, Sep. 17, 2008 at his home. He was born on Oct. 8,1959 in Madison and was the son of Richard and Myrna (Terhall) Weihert Sr. He married Alica Manthe on Oct. 9, 1982 at Sacred Hearts Catholic Church. Jamie worked for more than 20 years at the Prairie Diner in Sun Prairie. He was an avid Packers, Badgers, and NASCAR fan. He also collected Hot Wheels and hats. Jamie really enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Alica; two children, Jessica (Billy) Chambers of Madison and Jeremy Weihert of Sun Prairie; three grandchildren, Troy, Lilianne, and Deion Chambers; three brothers, Chuckie (Cheryl) Weihert, Richard "Frenchy" Weihert Jr., and Mike (Debbie) Weihert; three sisters, Brenda (Tim) Bast, Tammy Drzonek, and Tina Graser; his mother-in-law, Elaine Manthe; many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; and his dog, Ivory. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; parents; mother-in-law, Wanda Weihert; father-in-law, Robert Manthe; and dogs, Lassie and Baron. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sep. 20, 2008 at the Tuschen-Newcomer Funeral Home, 302 Columbus St., Sun Prairie, with Monsignor Duane Moellenberndt presiding. A visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home on Saturday. Burial will be held at Sun Prairie Memory Gardens.
