Charley was the son of Albert and Lola (Shealey) Wheeler. He married Margaret Bell Plummer and they were the parents of one son: Charley Harold Jr.

LANDRUM - Mr. Charley Harold Wheeler 85, retired general yardmaster for Norfolk and Southern Railways system, died May 2, 1990, at St. Luke's Hospital in Columbus. Funeral is 11 a.m. Friday at Petty Funeral Home. Burial will be 3 p.m. Friday in Sharon Memorial Park. Visitation is 7 to 8:30 tonight.
Survivors are his wife, Margaret; son, Charley Wheeler Jr. of Marietta, Ga.; sister, Mrs. B.L. Frick of Greer.
