Ailene Preston “Tish” Drennen, 81, of Ashland, Ky., died Aug 20, 2005, in Kig’s Daughters Medical Center.
She was born Dec. 24, 1923, in Kenova, W. Va., a daughter of the late Bryan and June Roberts Preston.
Her husband, John W. Drennen, also preceded her in death.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Ashland and Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) and was past matron of Ashland Chapter 119, Order of Eastern Star. She was a member of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists, was a medical technologist and a Kentucky Colonel.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Ashland Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel by the Rev. Quentin Lockwood and the Rev. Edwin Tally. Burial will be in Ashland Cemetery. Friends may call from 9:30 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel in Ashland.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to EQUIVISIONS, 2205 Woodland Ave., Ashland, KY 41101.
