Edward J. Dickinson, of Saxton, died Nov. 20, 1977, In the Hillview Nursing Home, Altoona. A Liberty Township native, he was born Sept. 2, 1892 to Jesse and Margaret (Kaufman) Dickinson. He married Charlotte Kensinger on March 11, 1917 in Saxton; she preceded him in death. Three children survive: Walter Dickinson of Everett; Mrs. Janet Reed, of Aliquippa and Mrs. Ruth Bussick of Saxton. A daughter is deceased. Also surviving are five sisters and a brother: Mrs. Emma Fouse of Fredericksburg; Mrs. Edith Werlz of Tyrone; Mrs. Ella Hess of Saxton R.D.; Mrs. Alberta Heister of Riddlesburg; Mrs. Martha Davis of Fayetteville and Howard Dickinson of Saxton. Two brothers and two sisters are deceased. He was a self employed rug maker.
