Myrtle M. Clark, 89 of Mexico, died Tuesday, May 12, 2009, at her home. Myrtle was born on March 27, 1920 in Viann, Okla. to Francis Marion and Susan Jane (Meyers) Cargill.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 am on Saturday, May 16, at the Church of the Nazarene, burial will follow at East Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm on Friday at the funeral home.
Myrtle married Victor R. Clark on Aug 8, 1939, he preceded her in death on July 18,1990. They were Pastorates in Oklahoma, Missouri and Iowa, and Pastored the Church of the Nazarene in Mexico, for 20 years.
She is survived by daughters: Carolyn James-Vossman and husband Ken of Missouri City, Judith Ann Woodward and husband Floyd & Donna K. Turner-Zeigler and husband Carl of Mexico;(11)grandchildren;(23)great-grandchildren.
Myrtle was preceded in death by husband, Victor R. Clark; an infant sister, Lois Cargill, and a sister Bertha (Cargill) Gooch; brothers, Floyd, James, Wallace and Franklin Cargill; great-grandson,Avery M. Woodward; and son-in-law, Paul Turner.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Church of the Nazarene.
