ROCK HILL - Mr. Gerald "Jerry" Leon Beck Sr., 57, of 1908 Reservation Road died Tuesday, Feb. 23, 1999, at home.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Catawba Ward, with Bishop Pieter Reynders officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Mr. Beck was a retired industrial insulator. He was a Navy veteran, a member of Frank Roach American Legion Post 34, Asbestos Local No. 72 in Greensboro, N.C., and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Catawba Ward.
Mr. Beck was the son of Margaret Helen Canty Beck and the late Samuel J. Beck.
Surviving in addition to his mother are three sons, Randall Scott Beck and Gerald L. Beck Jr., both of Rock Hill, and Tony L. Beck of Columbia; two brothers, Samuel M. Beck and Roderick N. Beck, both of Rock Hill; two sisters, Phyllis B. Williams of Rock Hill and Shasta B. Troxel of Richland Center, Wis.; three grandchildren; and his companion, Debbie McCormick of Rock Hill.
The family will receive friends at home.
