Just want to share some thoughts about Grandma Worden. These are mostly just a tribute to an amazing person.

• My comment to Uncle Earl, but then thought we're all the luckiest people in the world
• Grandma and Grandpa spent all the time they could with us when we were growing up. We were everything to them.
 Holidays: such special times, Gram made matching outfits for all of us girls, enjoy wonderful meals that Grandma cooked and spend the day together
 Vacations: Florida, Maine, Thousand Islands, weekend camping trips
 Fishing trips to catch smelt and then eating them after Grandma fried them
 Taking baths in her metal tub
 Just our childhood was filled with memories that will last a lifetime.
• Never would have dreamed that my children and grandchildren would get to know Grandma and spend so much time with her.
 Even Michelle and Michael's earliest years were spent with Grandma since she was at Pine Valley and Mark and I lived down the road.
 As our kids grew, Grandma continued to spend as many holidays with us as possible, and we were at her house several days a week for supper or just to hang out.
 Michelle and one of her best childhood friends spent many nights sleeping over at Gram's. They'd sleep in her bed, and she'd sleep on the couch.
 Appointments: she'd take the kids then bring me supper and dessert. Broke nose one time.
• My grandchildren have been fortunate enough to spend so much time with Grandma: holidays, weeknight dinners, and weekly visits to see her in the nursing home. One of Joe's favorite things to do was crawl in bed with her. He kept saying he wanted to live at the nursing home with her.
• Finally, I was able to spend the last day of her life with her, again, along with my daughter and her 3 children. For all of these things I will be forever grateful.
Final thoughts:
My grandmother was a selfless woman who ALWAYS, AND I MEAN ALWAYS, put others before herself. She didn't just talk the talk. She walked the walk. She had a strong faith, made God a daily part of her life, and lived a life that would please the God she loved so much. I will miss her more than words could ever express, but she is at peace now, united with the Lord and so many loved ones who were called home before her. I'll meet up with her again someday, but for now she will live in my heart and in my memories. I am honored and humbled to say that she was my grandmother
