Posey Elmo Ogle, 81, of Austinville, died Monday, June 7, 2004, at Twin County Regional Hospital, Galax.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Southern Ogle of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Donnie D. and Janet Ogle and Roger and Julie Ogle, all of Austinville;
two daughters and a son-in-law, Karen P. Jackson and Marjorie and Donnie Dalton, all of Austinville;
four brothers, Harless Ogle, Lance Ogle and Darrell Ogle, all of Hillsville, and Daniel Ogle of Austinville; t
hree sisters, Ilene Moore of Max Meadows, Rosa Mae Lawson of Galax and Juanita Simmons of Danville;
15 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be held today, Wednesday, at 11 a.m. at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Funeral Home with burial in the Round Knob Cemetery. Jack King will officiate.
Military rites will be conducted at graveside by the Hillsville VFW Post 1115.
