Dorothy died Friday, September 2, 2011 at the Green Lea Manor Nursing Home in Mabel at the age of 78.
Dorothy is survived by four children Rachel (Jimmy) Narum, Linda (Craig) Olson, Craig (Lauren) and Mike (Raquel) of Mabel; seven grandchildren Chad Inglett, Justin Olson, Trevor Narum, Melissa Narum, Logan Olson, Jenna Amdahl, and Jesse Amdahl; nine great grandchildren Justin, Alaina, Madison, Caden, Emma, Jackson, Alyvia, Luke, and Braylee; a sister Cathleen (Rolf) Hatling of Rushford; two brothers Jim (Sonja) Flynn of Rockford, Illinois, and Donnie (Jean) Flynn of Cedar Rapids, Iowa ; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and an infant brother.
Funeral Mass will be 11 AM Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at the St. Olaf Catholic Church in Mabel with Father Donald P. Schmitz officiating. Burial will be in the St. Mary's Cemetery in rural Mabel. Visitation will be 4-7 pm Monday, September 5th at the church and there will be a prayer service at 7. Memorials are preferred to the Relay for Life.
