Jewell Audine Richey, 92, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2011, in Norman.

Services are today at the Eisenhour Chapel in Blanchard, with interment in the Dibble Cemetery. Rev. Jack Richey will officiate the services, with Revs. Edwin Wade and Mike Wade assisting.

She was born to I.K. Gentry and Deliah Pryor Gentry on April 27, 1919, in Clarksville,Texas. Jewell was married to William Clay Richey. She was employed by Norman Regional Hospital as an emergency room clerk and a distribution clerk for Central Services. She retired in 1981.

She was a charter member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Norman. Jewell was a loving and caring person and was always helping people. She and Clay enjoyed fishing and attending revivals throughout Oklahoma.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Roley Clay; two brothers and five sisters.

She is survived by her sons, Edward and wife Letha of Oklahoma City, Jack and wife Mona Raye of Blanchard and Jimmy and wife Kay of Las Vegas; daughter-in-law, Genelle Richey of Blanchard; and brother, James Gentry of Victorville, Calif.; 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 13 great-great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

The funeral services will be conducted by the Eisenhour Funeral Home in Blanchard.
