Anna Giles died from injuries she sustained after falling 18 feet from a cliff near her home in the Linville area.. She was survived by her third husband, W.N. Giles, and 9 children by her three husbands. She is buried with her second husband, Thomas William Alexander. Her first husband was Joe Hunter.
