Judith Flagg, 23, was found dead on the kitchen floor by her husband late at night on January 6, 1983 in Fayette, Maine. He was returning home from his double shift job at the mill.
Judith's 13 month old son was with her at the time but was spared. He was found smeared with her blood, but unharmed. When she was attacked in the babys room, she tried to get help by getting to the phone in the kitchen but died before she could dial the police.
Her killer was found guilty of her murder after more than 2 decades in June 2009.
