FOUNTAIN— Benjamin "Ben" Barfield Sr., 69, died Sunday, March 25, 2007.
A graveside service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in Macclesfield Cemetery with the Rev. Julian Thompson officiating.
Barfield is survived by his wife, Rosa W. Barfield; sons, Benjamin "Ben" Barfield Jr. of Pinetops, Horace Barfield of Fountain, John Paul Barfield of Pinetops and Richard Barfield of Pinetops; daughters, Rachel Parkerson of Pinetops and Melissa Harrison of Tarboro; sister, Margaret Owens of Pinetops; eight grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Carlisle Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Rachel Parkerson.
Funeral arrangements are by Carlisle Funeral Home, Tarboro.
