Glenn V. Garrett 76, Poplar Bluff, Missouri died Wednesday November 7,2001, in Butler County. His death was sudden and unexpected.

Mr. Garrett was born January 25, 1925, in Williamsville, Missouri to Lawrence O. and Rose (Joiner) Garrett. He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene, a Mason and a Shriner. He was a retired truck driver and a self-employed farm equipment salesman.

On January 20, 1944, he married Helen Nicholes in Corning Arkansas. She survives.

Other survivors include two sons, Glendol D. Garrett and Gayle E. Garrett both of Poplar Bluff; one daughter, Angela E. Garrett of Poplar Bluff; two brothers, Jerry Garrett of Poplar Bluss and Ronald Garrett of Jasper, Arkansas; one sister Betty McIver of Poplar Bluff; four grandchildren, and sis great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Wilma O'Dell.

Visitation will be 7 to 9 pm today at Cotrell Funeral Chapel. The funeral service will be at 10:30 A.M. Saturday at the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Greg Gilberto officiating. Burial will be in the Black River Cemetery.
