Services were held for Ona Belle Gray, 80, of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, October 26, 1990, at the Stanley & Son Funeral Home. Pastor Norman Haas officiated; burial was at the Oakland Cemetery in Harrisonville, Missouri. Casket bearers included Dean Gray, Gary Gray, Mike Gray, Donald Gray, David A. Gray and Lawrence Gray.
Mrs. Gray died October 23, 1990, at St. Mary's Hospital of Blue Spring, Missouri. She was born in East Lynne, Missouri, January 3, 1910, the daughter of Joseph Edgar Hassler and Lillian Deal Schindorff Hassler. She married Syranus Gray September 30, 1936 in East Lynne. He preceded her in death in 1945.
Mrs. Gray graduated from the Pleasant Hill High School in 1927. She was a homemaker and a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Kingsville, the Friendly Homemakers Hobby Club of Pleasant Hill; the East Lynne Community Club and former 411 Club leader.
Survivors include; two sons, Joseph S. Gray of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, and Richard Gray of Mexico, Missouri; one daughter, Evelyn Stout of, Pleasant Hill, Missouri; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by, two children, Martha Ann Gray and John Albert Gray.
