Rosalee (Rosie) Eash passed away 2 Aug 2009 at the Ridgecrest Health Center after a lengthy illness.
She was born 24 Jan 1932 in Newburg, MO to Otis and Ruth Hensley.
Rosie was a graduate of Baxter Springs, KS High School class of 1950. She married Eugene (Gene) Eash on 5 Dec 1952 in Melrose, KS. She loved traveling and had the trip of her lifetime with a six-week tour of Europe with her husband. Her favorite place to visit was her home town of Baxter Springs, KS and surrounding area.
She attended Cerro Coso Community College and was a volunteer aid for Cerro Coso. She was secretary to Director of Nurses for Ridgecrest Hospital for seven years and left that position in 1987 to spend more time with her husband. She was president of the 4H Club. She was a long time resident of Ridgecrest, CA. She loved to bake and make fudge.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Eash, parents Otis and Ruth Hensley of Baxter Springs, KS; two sisters Betty Brown of Galena, KS and June Deyoe of Bakersfield, CA (formerly of Ridgecrest); grandson George Eash of Las Vegas, NV; daughter-in-law Connie Eash of Las Vegas, NV.
