CURRAN, James P. James Phillip Curran, age 62, a resident at Tri-County Extended Care of Fairfield, died on Saturday, November 24, 2007, at Mercy Fairfield Hospital. Born in Hamilton, Ohio, on December 2, 1944, he was the son of the late Frank J. and Lina Mae (Singleton) Curran. Jim was a member of the Tuley Road Church of the Nazarene, a U.S. Air Force Veteran serving during the Vietnam War, and a member of the D.A.V. He has been retired for the last nine years after being employed as a truck driver for 34 years. Jim is survived by his son, James Edward Curran and his wife Lorie of Maineville, Ohio; daughter, Denise Prewitt and husband Richard of Hamilton; four grandchildren, Jimmy and David Curran, Noah and Alysha Prewitt; one grandchild on the way; two sisters, Doris (Robert) McGuire of West Chester and Judith Curran of Middletown; two brothers, Robert F. (Ceil) Curran of West Chester and William E. (Joyce) Curran of Grand Island, Florida; and many nieces and nephews. A sister, Norma Jean Moore, also preceded Jim in death. Funeral services will be held at Webb Noonan Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South "D" Street, Hamilton, at 10am on Friday, November 30, 2007, with Rev. Randy Sapp officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 5-7pm at the funeral home.
