Mrs Carrie Corkle, 3816 NW 23, died Saturday in a city nursing home after a long illness. She was born in Mississippi and moved to Oklahoma City during her youth. She worked more than 50 years in the housewares department of John A. Brown Co.
Survivors include her three brothers, Whit Basham of Denver; and Earl and Howard Basham, both of Houston; and three sisters, Mrs Ola Rice, Fairfield, AL; Mrs Irene Seepe, Troy, AL; and Mrs Margarette Wallace, Chattanooga, TN. Services will be 10 am Tuesday in Guardian Funeral Home with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery.
