George died on Thurs. May 18, 1978 in St. Paul, MN from high blood pressure at the age of 48.
Funeral Mass was at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. George is buried in Resurrection Cemetery, Mendota Heights, MN.
He was a vice president of First Merchants Bank in St. Paul and president of the East Side Lions Club.
