Dale Lenard Woitte, 82, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2010, in Edmonds, WA. He was born on April 27, 1928, in Balfour, ND, to Albert and Metha (Zahnow) Woitte.
Dale served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was awarded the Purple Heart. He worked for Great Northern and Burlington Northern Railroads for 38 years.
Dale is survived by his wife of 57 years, Marilyn; son, Dale Lynn; daughter, Karen; granddaughter, Heather (Chris); and great-grand-daughter, Georgia. He is also survived by his sister, Ramona (Joe) Minor; sisters-in-law, Roma Woitte & Maggie Woitte, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held on Friday, October 29, 2010, from 10am to 12:30pm at Purdy & Walters at Floral Hills, 409 Filbert Road, Lynnwood, WA 98036, followed by a graveside service at 1pm. An online guest book is available at www.floralhillslynnwood.com.
Memorials may be given to the Edmonds Presbyterian Church Men's Bible Fund in Dale's name.
