John Gatten Jr., died in the General Hospital, Barnesville, Ohio at 10:30 p.m. Thursday of tetanus. He died of lockjaw.
The body was brought to Bauer, Willison and Turner Funeral Home on Thursday night and prepared for burial and on Friday was removed to the home of his parents on Rich Fork.
Short services were held at the home at 2:00 o’clock, Sunday, and final services were held at Rich Fork Christian Church in charge of Rev. James Gallagher of Sistersville, Ohio. Interment was in Oaklawn cemetery, Woodsfield, Ohio.
