Robert Adams obituary, Waynesburg Republican, Waynesburg, Pennsylvania, 17 February 1910, page 1, column 8.

"Robert Adams, a well known resident of Waynesburg, died at his home, on Church street, Tuesday evening, February 15, at 5 o'clock, aged 63 years, of paralysis. About two years ago Mr. Adams suffered a stroke of paralysis and had never fully recovered. On Monday he was again taken seriously ill with a second attack of the disease. He was a member of the Baptist church and was highly esteemed. Mr. Adams for many years was engaged in the meat business here and only gave up his work on account of failing health. He is survived by his wife and the following brothers and sisters: Dawson B. Adams and Mrs. Mary Myers, of Pittsburg; Mrs. A. I. Cooke, of Waynesburg, and Mrs. B. J. Pauley, of Jefferson. The funeral services will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by the Rev. A. S. Kelley. Interment will be made in the Green Mount cemetery."
