She was born on Aug. 4, 1924 in Luray and was a daughter of the late Thurman Theodore and Mary Elizabeth Strickler Barham.
Mrs. Moyer was a member of the St. Mark Lutheran Church in Luray.
On March 16, 1943, she married Granville H. Moyer, who died on Jan. 30, 1978.
She is survived by a daughter, Pamela M. Price of Luray; a son Jerry N. Moyer of Winchester; three Grandsons, Zachary Price of Richmond, Jordan Price of Harrisonburg, and Chad Moyer and wife Vickie of Luray; and one great grandchild, Maddox Moyer of Luray. She was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Douglas Barham; and a sister Page Spitler.
A graveside service was conducted on Saturday, Sept. 3, at the Beahm's Chapel Cemetery in Luray by the Rev. R. Nicholas Eichelberger.
