Pearl Ball, 89, of Amesville Route 1, died 6:30 a.m. Monday in Bethesda Hospital in Zanesville. Born in Athens County, he was the son of Moses and Mary Haley Ball. He was a retired oil field worker and farmer.
Surviving are his wife, Edna Law Ball; a son Linley Ball of Crooksville; three daughters, Mrs. Laura Fast and Miss Belva Ball, both of Crooksville and Mrs. Rosa Starcher of Newark; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Stone Funeral Home by the Rev. Willard Dutcher. Burial will be in Mound Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home anytime after 2 p.m. today.
