Benjamin Manford Larrance, 90, of Lake, died Saturday, Aug. 24, 1996, at the Isabella County Medical Care Facility in Mt. Pleasant.
Funeral services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at Helms Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with the Rev. Frank LaLone of the Weidman Church of the Nazarene officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Central Michigan, Isabella County Medical Care Facility or to the Weidman Church of the Nazarene.
Mr. Larrance was born June 22, 1906, in Indianola, Ind, to Benjamin C. and Melissa (Jordan) Larrance. He married Maybelle I. McDonald on July 1, 1929, in Weidman.
Mr. Larrance was a pipefitter and was later employed at Consumers Power in Pontiac until he retired. He was a member of the Weidman Church of the Nazarene.
He is survived by two sons, Kenneth M. (Rita) Larrance of Clarkston and Daryl B. Larrance of Weidman; one daughter, Donna (Frank) Britton of Valparaiso, Ind.; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one brother, Daniel Larrance of Mt. Pleasant; and one sister, Helen Tice of Clare.
He was preceded in death by his wife Maybelle on April 27, 1996, both parents, and four brothers.
