Irene Arndt and Kenneth White were married September 5, 1935, in Cheboygan, Michigan. Irene was born on April 13, 1914, in Cleveland, Ohio to Adam Arndt and Emma (Brickman) Arndt. The family moved to a farm east of Waters in 1920. Irene had eleven brothers and sisters: Laura, Herbert, Dorothea, Eugene, Edward, Doris, Richard, Robert, Hilda, Kenneth and Ernest.
She attended Marlatte School in Otsego Lake Township, then graduated from Gaylord High School in 1931.
From 1946 until 2007, she lived in Otsego Lake Village.
Irene worked for many years at Standard Products, retiring in 1969.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth White, on June 15, 1977.
Ken and Irene had one daughter and three grandsons.
