JANE STETTER DURK was born on May 22, 1934 in San Francisco, California and went to be with the Lord on April 6, 2003 in Houston, Texas after a courageous two-year battle with cancer. A resident of Houston for over 50 years, her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of her husband of 26 years, Reginald Durk; her son Thomas J. Pagel and wife Robin of Fairfield, TX; her son Jeffrey C. Pagel and wife Roberta of Stafford, TX; her daughter Laura Temme and husband Jay of Plano, TX; her daughter Lisa Holey and husband David of Austin, TX; her daughter Antoinette Robbins and husband Jim of Katy, TX; her brother Walter James Stetter and wife BJ of Dallas, TX and her nine grandchildren as well as countless special friends. She graduated high school in Dallas, Texas in 1952 and was a student of NTSU. She was a faithful employee of Randalls for over 20 years where she retired in 1997. She was a beautiful lady who loved to spend her time enjoying the company of friends and family and using her many talents in the creative making of arts and crafts. The family would like to say a special thank you to Dr. Pretti, his gracious staff and her many extraordinary friends who were with her in her final days. A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be held in the Chapel of the Woodlawn Funeral Home on 1101 Antoine Drive, on Wednesday, April 9 at 11:00am.
