Mrs. Rogers was the Matriarch and Homemakier of the Rogers Family.
She is a member of the Antoch Baptist Church and the LaCrosse Baptist Church and recently assisted them with their building fund.
Reba was Preceded in death by her husband of fifty-seven years. Sidney Lawrence "S.L." Rogers and her daughter Linda Marie Rogers Thomas.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Larry (Earline) Rogers, LaCrosse, FL. brother, Royce Chesser of Newberry, FL. grandchildren, Sheryl Singletary, Greg Rogers, Ken Thomas, Jeff Thomas, nine great grandchildren and several step-grand and great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday September 3, 2011 at 10:00 in the Antioch Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Antioch Cemetery LaCrosse, FL.
The family will have a reception in the Antioch Baptist Church Fellowship Hall following the committal service.
The family asked that contributions be made to the LaCrosse Baptist Church Building in memory of Reba Chesser Rogers.
Arrangements are under the care of MILAM FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES, 311 S. Main Street, Gainesville, FL. 352-376-5361.
