Burton Damon "Chub" Clark, 82, of Huntington, WV, passed away Monday, October 13, 2003, in St. Mary's Medical Center. He was born January 9, 1921 in Sand Run, WV, a son of the late Martin Frances and Grace Jeffries Clark of Buchannon, WV.

He was also preceded in death by
his first wife, Helen Ruth Clark;
two brothers, Vaden Ellis "Red" Clark and Roy Frances "Kippy" Clark;
two sisters, Vera Hazel Hodgkiss and Leona Fern Adams;
a grandson, Burton Daymon Clark II.

He was a retired foreman for the former Huntington Alloys. He served in the 15th. Division of the Army Air Corps and was a former Prisoner of War during World War II. He was a member of Highlawn Baptist Church, BPOE #313, and VFW Post 1064.

Survivors include:
his wife, Audrey Kendall Clark of Huntington;
one son, Larry Eugene Clark of Huntington, WV;
one daughter, Linda Clark Lee of Richmond, VA;
one stepson, Larry Robert Kendall and wife, Josephine of Huntington;
daughter-in-law, Sue Clark of Culloden, WV;
four grandsons, David Russell Clark of Columbus, OH, Phillip Tadd Clark of Atlanta, GA, Austin Burke Lee of Richmond, VA and Billy Joe McCallister of Huntington;
four granddaughters, Betty Jane (Clark) Ayers and husband, David Ayers of Ona, WV, Amy Elizabeth Lee of San Diego, CA, Meredith Elayne Allen and husband, Jason Allen of St. Louis, MO and Angela Dawn Cogle and husband, Eric Cogle of Denver, CO;
eight great grandchildren, Katie and Hannah Ayers of Ona, WV, Austin, Chelsea, Alicia and Mitchell Clark of Columbus, OH, Hunter Cogle of Denver and Tyler McCallister of Huntington;
two sisters, Ada Irene Garrison and husband, Tom Garrison of Dunbar, WV and Mildred Elizabeth Clark of Dunbar, WV;
many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral service at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, with Dr. Terrell Bradley officiating. Burial in Heavner Cemetery, Buchannon, WV.
