Sarah Davis Byars was born abt. 1795 Greenville District SC d. between the 1850-1860 census. Sarah resides with Jonas on 9 Dec 1850 Blount Co AL census. and she was not with Jonas in 1860. Living next door is her brother, Marston Davis family.
"Memorial Record of Alabama, Vol. I 1893" page. 502 The Memorial Record also lists her father as Benjamin Davis a soldier in the War of 1812 and a carpenter by trade. (see son W.G. Byars for record).
