Funeral services for Mrs. John Matlock, 69, of Acton were conducted at 2:30 pm Tuesday in the Acton Baptist Church.
Mrs. Matlock died Sunday in a Fort Worth hospital.
She was born in Hood County January 12, 1902, the daughter of Walter and Fannie Orr Hudgins. She married John Matlock in Granbury December 25, 1937. She was a member of the Acton Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, her step-father, J. H. Carmichael of Cleburne, three brothers, Clyde and Emmitt Carmichael of Cleburne and H. D. Carmichael of Ackerly; three sisters, Miss Ruby Hudgins and Mrs. Florence Woodard of Cleburne and Mrs. Ethel Angel of Arcadia, California.
Burial was in the Fall Creek Cemetery with Crosier-Pearson Funeral Home of Cleburne in charge of arrangements.
