ROGERS, Clyde Age 83 of Fairfield, passed away on Saturday March 26, 2011 at Tri-County Extended Care. He was born in Butler County on May 5, 1927 the son of the late Shelby and Mary (Riley) Rogers. Clyde graduated from Hamilton High Class of 1945 and was a U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII . Clyde had previously lived in Placenta, California and Kennewick, Washington for 52 years before moving back home. He was retired from Rockwell International in 1983 after 30 years of service as a Project Cost Accountant Manager. He was a member of Millville Avenue Church of God, Past Worshipful Master of Solomon's Staircase Lodge No. 357 F & A M, Buena Park, California, Scottish Rite Valley Long Beach, California, Hanford Retirees Association and AARP. Clyde is survived by his wife of 12 years, Dorothy (Locker) Rogers of Hamilton; two children, Paula (Kashmir) Richardson of Newman Lake, Washington and Pat Frank of Salem, Oregon; two step-children, Dallas G. Winkler of Hamilton and Donna M. Jones of Oxford; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; two sisters, Ona Dees and Rosa McWhorter, both of Hamilton. He was also preceded in death by his first wife of 52 years, Betty (Gray) Rogers; two sons, Clyde Douglas Rogers and Shelby Rogers and brother Claude Rogers. Funeral Ceremony will be held on Thursday March 31, 2011 at 11am at the Millville Avenue Church of God 1369 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, OH 45013, with Pastor Joe Clark officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church.
