Mrs. M. E. VENABLE was born May 30, 1856, died May 1st, 1913, at the age of 57 years, 11 months. She died at her home near Balko, Oklahoma. Five sons and one daughter survive her. They are E. T., NORMAN, Herman and Hugh VENABLE of Balko, Oklahoma, Mrs. Bertha FROST of Balko, and J. M. VENABLE of Miles City, Montana.
The bereaved was sick only a few days, but suffered greatly. She was willing and ready to go when the time came.
The funeral was held, May 2. A short sermon was preached at the cemetery by Rev.Shaw.
J. M. VENABLE arrived from Montana May 5, but was too late for the funeral. Death is sad but should all prepare for it.
