Betty J. (Palmer) Boldan, 90, of Shawnee, Kan., passed away on September 23, 2013. Betty was born Nov. 6, 1922, in Missouri City, Mo., to Richard and Beryl (Foley) Palmer. She was a long time member of the First Baptist Church of Shawnee. Betty is survived by her husband of 64 years. Her four children, eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, at Amos Family Funeral Home. A visitation will be before the service at 10 a.m. Burial will follow the service at Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens.
