George Thomas Cloven, 66, a resident of Springfield for the past 25 years, died at 6:20 a.m. yesterday while visiting a son, Elmer, in Compton, Calif.
Mr. Cloven was a retired Missouri-Pacific Railroad switchman.
He is survived by another son, Frank of Cotter, Ark.; two daughters, Mrs. Harold Hill of 1939 West Chestnut and Mrs. LeRoy Burgess of 529 North Nettleton; two brothers, C. W. of Carthage and C. C. Cloven of Alton, and 11 grandchildren.
The body will be returned to Springfield. Arrangements are under direction of Klingner.
