David G. D. Allen has a CSA pension application on line under Jefferson County in the GA ARch8ives. He says he enlisted in 1863 , served 2 years with the Infantry, and surrendered in Macon , GA. His witness stated that Mr. Allen enlisted in Decatur Co, Ga and served with Company A of Howell Cobbs Division.
