Dorothy M. Watson, 87, of Poland died at 9:35pm July 20, 2005 at Cloverleaf Health and Rehabilitation Facility in Brazil following an extended illness. She was born October 31, 1917 to John and Sarah Ahlemeyer Huckriede. She was a devoted and active member of the Zion United Church of Christ. She was a 1935 graduate of Brazil High School. After graduating she married Clyde Watson June 15, 1941 who preceded her in death. She worked at Poland State Bank serving in many capacities, most recently as a cashier, retiring in the 80's after 27 years of service. She was an active member of the Order of the Eastern Star #304 in Bowling Green having served over 50 years in the lodge. She was involved in many aspects of her community and always willing to help those in need. Her hobbies included reading and traveling.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a sister Anna K. Huckriede.

She is survived by her daughter and son – in – law Mary Anne Murphy and husband Andrew of Alvin Texas as well as a large extended family.

Funeral Information
Services will be Sunday, July 24, 2005 at French Funeral Home at 3:00 PM with Pastor Paul Zurcher officiating. Burial will follow at Poland Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home Sunday two hours prior to the service
